There's no number on my grind scale/dial. How do I use this?

The current shipping Mini (which is what have been shipping for the past few months) does not have numbers printed. Instead, we're going with a dot-counting system (but stepless) that is similar to other grinders - The grind setting is referenced by counting from the zero. The latest version also have a finer resolution (more ticks in between) so that will allow you to dial in even more precisely.

Dialing may just be slightly different compared to when you have numbers, but it's not any harder to use in our experience.

To facilitate switching between multiple grind setting (e.g. filter and espresso), there are also stickers included in the box (so users can use them to mark the zero or the different grind settings).

To find the zero:

Switch off the grinder.

Rotate the adjustment hopper

finer all the way until it locks. This is your zero - you may apply a zero sticker here.

The scale has 10 big dots in total (1 full revolution). In between each big dots, it is further divided into 5 subdivisions for micro-adjustment.

Example:
Case 1: For espresso for example, go to zero and then adjust coarser by about 5-8 big dots.

Case 2: To make 1.5 revolution adjustment, adjust finer to zero (with sticker). Then rotate 1 full revolution and back to the zero sticker again. Then rotate an additional 5 big dots.
